Never doubt your ability to reinvent yourself, as a creative being. Never feel regret or be ashamed of being multi-talented. These are gifts from a larger creative source. Any suffering, neurosis, or mental struggles are not there because you’re creative, nor are you are creative because of them. You posses talents that you must honor despite the constant threat of resistance from the world and yourself, towards your self-expression. What your poetry, art, music and writing offer you is self exploration and healing. And not just to you, but for others who connect with your work. Have you not ever read, saw, listened to a work of art that made you feel beyond inspired? That deep inside made you feel like it was a gift made just for you? Then why doubt that your work could do the same for others?
