In the creative life you’re going to run into people who go through life projecting their own repressed shadow and inferiority onto others. They do that because they see the light in you. When an unaccomplished spirit meets light, they feel exposed. They will throw as much of their shadow at you to try to opaque your shining light. They also recognize and hate that something about you is attractive and could potentially shift attention away from them. They hate the fact that they can’t ignore you.
